Rose Bowl 2012: Oregon Ducks and Wisconsin Badgers Tied 28-Up at the Half

In one of the most anticipated BCS Bowl games of the new year, two of the nation's most high-powered offenses have yet to disappoint.

LaMichael James and the Oregon Ducks are taking on Montee Ball and the Wisconsin Badgers, in what will be a high-scoring, electrifying matchup that is likely to come down to the last snap. It's gone that way so far, with the game tied at 28-28.

Wisconsin struck first with a 38-yard touchdown strike from Russell Wilson to Jared Abbrederis, but the Ducks immediately fired back with a seven-play, 80-yard drive capped off by a LJ touchdown.

The Ducks were the first team to punt, but never trailed by more than one touchdown the entire half.

The battle between running backs is swinging in Ball's favor, as he already has 122 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. James isn't too far behind with 77 yards on eight rushes.

Oregon's X-Factor, De'Anthony Thomas, exploded for a 91-yard rushing touchdown to tie the game at 14.

The Ducks kept up their normal, fast-pace offense, only keeping their personnel on the field for 8:40, the Badgers 21:20.

The second half is sure to be just as exciting, as both teams have a lot left in the tank and are determined to get a BCS Bowl win.

Both Wilson and Darron Thomas are having great nights, both only misfiring on three attempts, and each passing for over 150 yards.

The Ducks and Badgers have a combined 636 yards of total offense, Oregon with the upper hand with 341.

Tune in after the game for highlights and analysis of the 2012 Rose Bowl.
